This medium to full-bodied red has soft drying tannins, and fruit-flavours of juicy blackberry and dark cherry, sprinkled with notes of spice. Blackberry, black tea and dark cherry notes linger on the extra-dry finish.The grapes for our Cabernet Merlot come from several vineyards in the south Okanagan Valley. The blend consists of 68% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 2% Syrah and 1% Petit Verdot. The wine was tank fermented and aged in older (80%)American oak and (20%) French oak barrels for 14 months.TASTING NOTES This Rooster shows great ‘posture’ as he moves through the flock.
