Chinook Canadian Rye Whisky is a quality whisky you can be proud to offer your best friends. Distilled from the finest Western Canadian distillers grain, aged for at least 5 years in aged 53 gallon/200 Litre bourbon barrels and finally blended to perfection by our master blender. All the steps taken from converting grain to this fine 5 year old whisky are taken in Calgary, Alberta – the city located at the foothills of the Canadian Rockies and recipient of up to 30 Chinook winds every year and home to the world renowned Calgary Stampede, billed as the “Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”. Chinook winds are known to raise the temperature on a cold winter day by up to 40 degrees Celsius in just one hour. Did you know that most of the Canadian Whiskies sold in the marketplace are aged only 3 years? The extra 2 years of aging gives the Chinook Whisky its legendary smoothness. The whisky is then hand packaged in a custom hand blown glass bottle and sealed with a cork.
